“We called it Bikini Bandits, and it was a rollicking caper about buxom thieves robbing convenience stores with semiautomatic weaponry while raising a whole lot of hell. It was an homage to the B-grade Russ Meyer movies and Van Halen videos we both loved. It was Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill! meets ‘Hot for Teacher’… It would be my greatest prank yet: an intentionally terrible movie meant to skewer Hollywood (and American consumer culture).”
